PMI NB 25th Anniversary Gala and Awards Night

Celebrate project management excellence in New Brunswick and PEI by nominating outstanding professionals, teams, or initiatives for recognition at our 25th Anniversary Gala on October 25, 2025. 

Please choose only one award category per submission. If you have multiple nominations, submit a separate form for each. You may nominate yourself or someone you believe deserves recognition.

Award Categories

★ Project of the Year ★

Recognizes a project that has made a significant impact through excellence in planning, execution, and results.

Minimum Requirements: 
- Project completed between Jan 2020 and Aug 2025 
- Led or co-led by a New Brunswick-based team

Success Criteria: 
- Demonstrated value delivery  
- Innovation and stakeholder satisfaction 
- Use of project management best practices 
- Community or organizational impact 

★ PMO of the Year ★

Honors a Project Management Office that has significantly improved organizational performance and delivered value through project governance, leadership, and alignment.

Minimum Requirements: 
- PMO active in New Brunswick 
- At least 2 years of demonstrated impact

Success Criteria: 
- Measurable improvements in project outcomes 
- Maturity of PMO processes and practices 
- Alignment with business strategy 
- Support of capability building and mentorship 

★ Rising Star Award ★

Celebrates an emerging project leader who has shown exceptional promise, passion, and impact in the field of project management.

Minimum Requirements: 
- Under 35 years of age with PM experience 
- Residing or working in New Brunswick

Success Criteria: 
- Rapid learning and leadership growth 
- Initiative and innovation on projects 
- Community involvement or mentoring 
- Clear trajectory toward leadership in PM 

★ Fellow Achievement Award ★

Honors an individual who has made a sustained and outstanding contribution to the project management profession and the PMI NB Chapter.

Minimum Requirements: 
- Over 15 years of PM experience 
-  Advocate for PMI New Brunswick Chapter

Success Criteria: 
- Leadership across multiple initiatives or organizations 
- Mentorship, advocacy, and role-modeling 
- Long-term commitment to PM excellence in NB 
- Significant impact on the profession 

★ PMI NB Chapter Choice Award ★

Recognizes a dedicated PMI NB Chapter volunteer who has gone above and beyond in supporting chapter activities, community building, and member experience.

 
Minimum Requirements: 
- Must have served as a PMI NB volunteer for a minimum of 2 years. 
- Demonstrated representation of PMI values

Success Criteria: 
- Demonstrated reliability and passion 
- Positive attitude and team collaboration 
- Initiative and creative problem-solving 
- Support of PMI NB’s strategic goals

 Nomination Process

1. Complete Nomination Form (self or others):

2. Nominee Acceptance Form is emailed to the nominee after submission.

3. Evaluation by Judges:

• External, anonymous judges

• Independent digital scoring

4. Finalists Announced by October 5, 2025

• All finalists must attend the Gala on October 25

Judging Criteria & Scoring

Judges rate submissions 1–5 per category. Top total scores determine finalists.
