PMBOK STUDY GROUP - For PMPs and CAPMs - Jan 2019 - Limited Seating

Word Cloud

Interested in pursuing your Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification?

PMI NB will be hosting a physical study group in Fredericton to help participants study and prepare for these certifications. The Fredericton study group will also be open to Moncton, Saint John and other areas of New Brunswick and PEI to join online.

In April 2018, PMI NB piloted online attendance as part of our Saint John Study Group. We had great feedback from attendees. In January 2019 we would like to extend this attendance option for individuals in areas we are not offering a physical study group in. This will be the only attendance mode, outside of Fredericton offered in the January 2019.

Key Dates:

Wed. 9 Jan 2019 – Fredericton Information Session

Thur. 10 Jan 2019 – Online Information Session (non-Fredericton attendees)

Please see the links on the right for pricing, additional information and to reserve your seat!

Professional Development Days 2019

PD Days Poster

This year’s conference theme is: Accommodating for the Human Factor in Project Management

While project managers have been working hard to perfect their technical expertise and time management skills, one of the biggest challenges they often face relates to the human factor.

Project teams are made up of diverse individuals. Skills in the areas of conflict management, motivational techniques, and strategies for retaining and onboarding top-quality skilled workers can be extremely difficult to master. Additionally, there can be an even more diverse set of stakeholders who are impacted by or who influence the project outcome.

The goal of PMI NB's upcoming PD Days conference is to provide the knowledge and technical skills needed to meet the complex needs of today’s teams and stakeholders. In other words, this conference aims to enable project managers to accommodate for the human factor in project management.
