Join us on 31 Jan when Sacha Patino from NB Department of Energy, Senior Advisor for Petroleum, Pipelines and Natural Gas will share the following: 

Event Details:  EXTERNAL RISK STRATEGIES IN TODAY'S ENERGY PROJECTS – External Risks, such as politics, economic and social license play a role in the success of today's energy projects. Using examples from well-known energy projects, Sacha will highlight various risk strategies that can be employed to manage risks across all sectors!


Sacha started his career in 2002 at Irving Oil in multiple roles in Marketing, Finance and eventually in their PMO managing multiple projects. In 2008 he moved to the New Brunswick Department of Energy and currently is the Senior Advisor for Petroleum, Pipelines and Natural Gas sectors. He has led several projects including the government lead for the Energy East Project, the NB Climate Change Action Plan and sits as a Department of Energy representative on the NB Emergency Measures Office (EMO) where they monitor and assess public safety risks and crisis management strategies. Sacha got his CAPM in 2007 and was a PMI NB Board member from 2009-2013.
