FREDERICTON LUNCH & LEARN – February 15th 2018 – Atlantic Immigration Pilot: Public Policy, Immigration and Project Management

Join us on 15th February, when Miriam McLaughlin with the NB Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour will share the following: Atlantic Immigration Pilot: Public Policy, Immigration and Project Management

Miriam McLaughlin is a certified Project Management Professional and works with the NB Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour (PETL). She has worked as a Project Manager for the past four years and previously as a Program Consultant. Miriam has professional experience working both in the public and private sector. Miriam attained a Master’s of Science in Business Administration from Husson College and completed her Bachelor of Science with the University of New Brunswick Fredericton campus. On a personal level, she is an avid dog-lover, enjoys kayaking and hopes to host an international student in the near future.

The presentation will provide a brief overview of the Atlantic Immigration Pilot and highlights of using project management for implementation. Experiences with identifying sub-projects, metrics and the linkages to process improvement activities will be shared as part of the presentation.

Time: 12-1 PM, Thursday, February 15th, 2018

Location: Chancery Place, 675 King Street, Room 5002, Fredericton, E3B 5H1

 Cost: $15 for PMI NB members, $20 for non-members, earn 1 PDU for attending this event. Lunch will be provided by the Happy Baker!
